S5 or S7: which Thatcham tracker does your insurer mean?
When your insurer says a tracker is a condition of cover, they will usually name a Thatcham category. S5 systems add driver ID tags so the monitoring centre knows the moment your vehicle moves without you, while S7 provides monitored tracking without driver recognition. Your policy documents will state which category applies, and we can confirm it for you before you order.
